“marshy fun!”
Potholes State Park is a 640-acre camping park with 6,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on Potholes Reservoir (also known as O'Sullivan Reservoir). Potholes Reservoir is often confused with the Pothole Lakes themselves, which are a 30- to 45-minute drive from the park. The terrain is desert with freshwater marshes.
Beautiful views, but the atmosphere can pretty easily be shattered by all the drunk college kids camping out.
A beautiful lakeside campsite with over a hundred level spots both for tent or RV use with some offering hookups and a number can accommodate vehicles up to 50-feet. It's ideal for those looking to do some fishing as they have an onsite boat ramp and dock facilities.
