While we where here campground was mostly empty, only 5 or 6 RV,s or trailers and a group of 6 tents in 2 campsite’s. Campground is very clean as where the bathrooms. There is access to Lake Oroville, although the trails are a bit step. Bidwell Canyon Marina is very close by with a small store, cafe and boat rentals.
Camp sites have good hookups with decent water pressure, no TV. Some sites are a little steep, but nicely paved. Most are shorter, around 27 feet, with some up to 40 feet. We fit our 29 foot trailer and F-150 in site 15 no problem.
Lake Oroville can get very hot in the summer, we where here in Mid May and it was very nice. I was also told that the Marina gets “Crazy” after Memorial Day.

The camp had very clean flushing toilets and showers. They had full hookups. The cell service was very spotty and there were loads of bugs but we just stayed in during the evenings. The staff were very helpful and kind. The water levels for the lake are extremely low unfortunately. The campground was very quiet and there were only a few other campers there.

This is a great camping spot-the park offers coin showers, electricity and water hookups. During our stay, there were only a few other campers-our spot was wide and paved with easy access to the bathrooms and showers. Would recommend staying here for the lake access or if you are just driving through this area!

Spots are a bit tricky to navigate into with Slopes and bends. No campfires allowed due to wildfire conditions. Only giving 4 stars because there was barely room for my steps to come down before hill dropped away and I was only about 8 inches from hookups on other side. You have to walk on hillside to get to iconic table. Otherwise great experience.

Site 61 was us…lots of turns and bends. Small sites with no room for steps and slides. We didn’t have any neighbors but if we did their campfire would have burned our slides. Other side barely had enough space for the stairs. And we had a 40ft site. Very tight spots overall. Great location, lots of trees and can walk to the boat ramp/lake. Bathrooms were semi-clean. One stall needed cleaning. Ewww.
