Rome Station is a small gas station and restaurant that also has a few camping spaces and cabins. There is one pull-thru and two back-ins with 30A electric and water. There is no sewer hookup or dump station available. We stayed in the pull-thru and the nightly rate was $15. I could have fit in a back-in space if needed as there is ample maneuvering room.
AT&T and Verizion both were unusable with 1 bar of signal. They do have WiFi in the restaurant but it didn’t reach to our site. We had Starlink which worked great in this remote area.
The pull-thru is farthest from the road and the road noise wasn’t excessive. However the back-in sites are closer to the road so it may be more noticeable there.
We also ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was good.

The staff was not friendly. Maybe they saw our California plates. The food was just OK. There was a lot of right wing political discussion going on. Not what you want to hear when stopping for lunch while traveling.
