Find another place if at all possible. Super unfriendly Manager, no trash pick-up, no dog bags, and NO sewer hook-ups. Nasty dump area. I guess I didn't read the fine print. There wasn't anyone, long term or short term that I met that liked the park management. It just happens to be close to Mystic. Someone needs to buy it or fire the manager to turn it around, as it has a great location and potential.

Great base camp for checking out all that Mystic has to offer. We paid roughly $42 per night with the Good Sam discount. There are back-in and pull through sites. None have sewer, just water, electric (50 or 30 amp), and cable. They have a dump out service if you are staying there longer than 3 nights and there are two dump stations. Each site has a fire pit (unfortunately we couldn't use because there was a few inches of water in it from all the rain during the previous week) and a picnic table. There are plenty of other amenities as well; volleyball, mini golf, playground, horseshoes, etc. We walked around the park to check out the seasonal sites all set up--quite entertaining but we did not take advantage of any of the other amenities. Lots of kids playing and lots of golf carts flying around. We were there at the end of April so it wasn't full but sites are close together with no privacy. It was quiet even though there were a lot of people there for early season. Staff is super friendly.

Rate reflects a military/l.e. discount on a week stay. It would get a top rating if it had sewer hook up. But they do have honey wagon service, free on the weekly stay. Level, grass and gravel sites. Weekends do get family crowds. Nice pool area, mini golf, a laser tag yard, playground for kids, horseshoes, and dump site in campground. Sites have good spacing. The office has a small store for incidentals. Nice staff.

This is a nice park and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were only there 2 nights as we were just passing through the area, but it was a nice stop and a good spot for visiting the town of Mystic. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the pull-through buddy sites. Thankfully the park was not full while we were there, but if it was full we would have been sharing a "yard" with a neighbor. All the pull-through sites are set up where one RV pulls in one direction, and the next pulls in the other direction which essentially makes them buddy sites. That's usually awkward when you don't know your neighbor. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked well there.

The place is clean, we did not use the pool but it looked nice. Everything was good.
WiFi signal was weak, hence the 4 vs 5 star review. We would stay again.

While the campground is very clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating there a couple of things that need improving. The streets have names but do not have signs at the end of them .I have watched campers driving around having difficulty trying to find their site. I purchased two bundles of wood only to find that the wood is wet and doesn't look like is was seasoned wood so a campfire is out of the question. The campers behind us said the same thing and he purchased a lot of wood. The store could use more items and stay open later. Not sure if that is a staffing problem. If so I understand.

The sites are big but since it’s practically a cow pasture does that really matter? The road was tight and pretty hard to back in.
For the price you’re asked to pay, this place is pretty average. Only a couple shower houses throughout the complex and if there are lots showering, pressure is pretty low.
The people working there were nice but once it closed at 6/7 they were nowhere to be seen.
Kids did like the pool though. So if you have kids and a full afternoon, probably a better deal.

There are no sewer connection, but; there are several dump sites and the Honey Wagon services, every 4th day, are included with the site cost.

Long and wide sites and east maneuvering make for east in and out.

Facilities are in great condition & kept clean! The grounds are well managed.

Location is somewhat mid point. Quick drives to Mystic and Groton/New London and and a easy drive to Newport RI.

We came last year. We visit family in the area regularly and like to come with our camper instead of a hotel. Nice level site each time. Quiet campground was appreciated. Hook ups work as they should. Dumping station is clean and well maintained. Cell and WiFi work ok, not exceptional but ok. Zero complaints.

It's billed as an "RV Resort" and yeah, they have the pool and mini golf and playground etc. Even so, the feel of the place is one of mostly long term seasonal sites with the transients relegated to what basically is an open field. 30amp and water only. They do have at least two easily accessible dump stations and free pump out if you're there for a week or longer. Pump out is on the the 4th day. The laundry was fine. It was clean and had four each washer and dryer. I think it was $2.25 per load. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms or any of the "resort" facilities. The biggest advantage is the location. 15 minutes to Mystic, Groton or New London. About an hour to Newport or Providence. They had a live band one Saturday night and it was loud and went on to 10:30. Unfortunately it was about 200 feet from our site. Not good. Otherwise it's pretty quiet there. The sites are wide so you don't feel on top of each other. They are fairly level with packed gravel and grass. No shade trees.
