Spend Saturday at the museum gave it to five star rating. Fantastic work by many artists and great narrative on Western history. Well worth the admission price.
This is a must see. We really enjoyed it and will probably go again if we are in the area. Plan on spending the whole day. There is a lot to see.
This museum is huge and the tour is very informative. You can really see and know about the Western Heritage. The art displays are amazing and the facility are great too. You can bring your kids here too and sure they'll have fun because they also offer outside area for kids.
You can also shop and dine here.
This is an amazing museum, and definitely a must-see when visiting OKC. This museum is filled with relics of the West, and information about what life was like during the Wild West era in American history.
We really enjoyed this beautiful museum. There is so much to see and so well organized and presented. We spent two hours but could have used more time, even two visits. A definite must in Oklahoma City.
Loved this museum!
Very nice grounds and wonderful history of every thing cowboy (and girl). You can spend 1 to 3 hours here.
Amazing!! We sped through it in two hours, but could easily have spent all day here (and would have loved to if we had the time)!
This is a fantastic museum !!!!
We stopped here on a college road trip expecting that 3 hrs would be enough time. No way!!! We could have spend an entire day here and still be wanting for more time. This is a great place to visit and come back to. The exhibits are superb and the vast display of western culture through art is phenomenal!!!
The museum staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the exhibits, pieces and their histories. The experience can be enjoyed by all ages from 7 to 100+ yr olds.
We will definitely be back and spend an entire day.
We stopped here after visiting the 45th infantry division museum and highly recommend that museum also.
Very nice museum! The displays range from artwork to replicas to real old west items. Very nice people working there. Got in for free since it was a specially sponsored Wednesday. That was a great surprise. I enjoyed the old town replica area with all the shops, bank, school, and saloon, etc. I also enjoyed seeing all the beautiful leather saddles. The Indian exhibit was nice but I wish there had been more of it - like a life size tee-pee with Indians around it. Just a suggestion.
