Nearby Lake Okeechobee, known as Florida's Inland Sea and referred to as the “Big O”, is the largest freshwater lake in Florida and offers the best boating and fishing in the area. Activities are endless within the resort! Play tennis or pickleball, hike the Big O trail or soak in one of our 2 pools or hot tub. Visit our fully equipped fitness center for a great workout, or take in a 9-hole game of golf. (Tee Times are required) Effective April 1, 2024 the golf course is open 6 days a week (closed on Monday for regular maintenance).Okeechobee KOA Resort's full social calendar is filled with concertts, parades, parties, seasonal holiday celebrations - from Mardi Gras festivities to a Christmas decorating contest. After a day on Lake Okeechobee, swap fish stories over a cold one at the Shanty Lounge, or grab a bite to eat at the .Big-rig friendly , furnished , and campsites are available. Amazing pools - adult and family pools available. Clean and well-equipped fitness center. Mini golf and pretty clean facilities. A lot of full time residents and plenty of laundry and bathhouses. Gas and Publix (grocery) close by.
Back in sites to the golf course give you an amazing view and are right on a catch and release full of fish, turtles and a baby gator(!!) as well as a fun place to watch birds and squirrels.
Quiet campground (during COVID anyway!)
Nearby air boat rides (Eagle) were great and Milking R Farm ice cream are must-dos!

This was our first campground after purchasing our latest RV. There’s not much to do in the surrounding area but the campground is a lot fun. Two pools, kids playground, live music.
Staff was very helpful especially since we arrived way after hours. The pull through site is a little tight but manageable.
We’ll probably be staying there again soon.

When we stay at destination parks, we look for the opportunity to play pickleball. This park has 6-dedicated parks and an active morning group. Players of all levels (4+ down) will find a challenge. The amenities are fabulous. The sites while close together, have grass, trees and are well laid out. Access is easy. This park would be a great winter destination.

We really were impressed by this location, really well maintained grounds, beautiful birds, lovely palm trees. There are 2 pool sites, one for adults with a bar and another for families with a little pool for small children. The dog park is small. The mail service and laundry room are great! Recommend!
$106 in February. 30amp. No dump station. Septic on sight but would need three hoses to reach it.
