“30 amp and 50 amp electric services”
Ocala RV Camp Resort is in a private RV camping setting with a great location surrounded by a natural environment of beauty with oak and magnolia trees. Our pet friendly campground is conveniently located and offers Easy On/Off to the Highway. Our Log Cabins are located around scenic ponds where you will see ducks and other Florida birds. We offer sites with 30 and 50 amp electric service including water, and sewage. Our sites are situated on grassy areas with lots of shady spots to keep you cool. Our amenities include a Heated Olympic Size Swimming Pool (with a smaller pool for children), restrooms, and showers. Our office/store carries ice, firewood and ice cream. We offer Wireless Internet, horseshoe pits, basketball, playground, cabins, dump station, campfires and propane. Our friendly office and grounds personnel are always here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There are several mouthwatering restaurants in the area to satisfy everyone’s palates. There is an open-air market featuring Dillard’s, Dick’s, Barnes & Noble, and Starbuck’s coffee shop. Located approx. 2 miles away is Gander Mountain and Northern Tools too.

Hasn’t changed since we were here two years ago. Notice on checkin counter says they are having electrical problems; No electric heaters allowed, only one AC unit can be run at a time. I asked if they were working on the electrical system and was told it hadn’t been worked on since the 70’s. Nothing has been updated since the 70’s. Had planned to stay at State Park but reservation was canceled due to COVID-19. Dropped new toad off to have baseplate installed tomorrow then home

Site 87 accommodated our Class A plus a dolly towed car without us unhitching. 50a power, water, sewer all in good order. Grounds well cared for. Easy in and out for an overnight stop, very easy access to I-75. Lots of restaurants and Walmart nearby.
“Interesting” hold harmless and indemnification document that we were required to sign to stay here.

First of all, Florida is expensive! Diesel is consistently over $2.50 and propane is over $3 IF you can find it. There seems to be a shortage right now as several places had run out. (I was referred here from Ocala Sun RV Resort because they had run out just before I pulled in.) I drove up and saw the fill station just past the office on the left. A friendly attendant seemed to be waiting for me and very quickly got to work filling my onboard tank. He seemed to know what he was doing. The office was taking great precautions and the lady at the desk was very sweet. I'm used to paying about half as much for a fill but this is Florida at high season.
We’ve met a number of nice campground hosts, but these people are just the best. We were having electrical issues and they knew exactly how to help us. Our problem, not theirs, and quickly solved. Older park, adjacent to (and easy access from) I-75. Roads paved, grass parking. Our site was level, full hookups. Cable tv, all amenities including propane on site. Pond/lagoon with a couple dozen ducks and geese just waiting for handouts. Road noise from I-75 was completely covered by our a/c. Will stay longer next time. Perfect for an overnight when traveling I-75.

We spent one night here on our way to South Florida. It is conveniently located off of I-75 around 20 miles from the Turnpike. The campground staff is friendly and accommodating. When we arrived there was an electrical issue at our site. The staff quickly mobilized to move us to a different site where we had no more issues. The park itself is a little run down. There are some long term residents which makes the campground a little dumpy, the grounds are ok, but again just a little run down. We did not use the restrooms or laundry facilities. Bottom line ok for an overnight stay if traveling on I-75 in central Florida. Price is reasonable. Not bad but not great.

Ok for the night, not easy to find entrance Lot of traffic because you have to drive through a shopping area even though its close to the highway. My site was big but didn't like that I was across from people who seemed to be living there full time.. However my one night was quiet and peaceful
