Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 02, 2021Turning right instead of left when you enter Oakridge Green Waters Park takes you to a rest area with about ten pull-through parking spots in addition to car parking. The bathrooms are clean and well-kept. There is a residence just a few yards away from the parking lot, which seems to house a caretaker.
The park has lots of beautiful green open areas and big trees, along with a boat launch into the small river adjacent to the rest area. Our dogs loved swimming in the slow current!
This rest area is small and a posted sign at the entrance indicates "No Trucks". I did see one semi come through, but they only went around the circle and departed without parking. Our two large RVs (36' and 41') parked side-by-side without trouble getting in or out of the pull-throughs.
I couldn't find any signs indicating length of stay allowed, but one night didn't seem to be a problem. Maintenance crews arrived in the morning and were friendly as we were packing up.

Their rules state that you are prohibited from: Setting up a tent or other structure, camping, or remaining in a rest area for more than 12 hours within any 24-hour period
I can't say that it is monitored that closely but it's not a place I would want to stay if it wasn't necessary (like Walmart).

If you need an overnight this works. We had left from Crater Lake National Park heading to northern Oregon and this worked just great for an overnight.
Just able to hear road noise from the highway.

We stayed here over night on the way to Crater Lake. This rest stop was very clean and had flush toilets a walk way, pet area, and two park benches to sit on as well as having 10 large vehicle pull through. It also had a few other people that were on the grass area that seemed to be there most every night. But I'm not sure why they were there at all.

Marked RV spaces were only about 40 feet long. Our motorhome is 40 ft. long, so we had to disconnect our Jeep and park it in another parking space when we spent the night here. On our way out the next morning, we found that the branches weren't trimmed high enough for our 13'6" tall coach and they hit our windshield and drug across our roof and solar panels.
It appeared that there were several people living in the Rest Area.
That evening while it was still light, we were parked and sitting in the back of our coach, when a Jeep backing out of a parking space by the restrooms backed into us and cracked our fiberglass rear cap. We were parked legally within the painted lines. Now we have to deal with insurance companies and repairs. It's a little hard to understand how someone can not see a 40 foot motorhome that's over 13 feet tall in broad daylight.
Other than getting hit by branches and a Jeep, it was a quiet place to spend the night in a beautiful location. We would recommend it for small RVs, but definitely not for a Big Rig.
