DUENDE: the spirit of evocation, soul and creative expression of which the core elements are irrationality, earthiness, heightened awareness of death, and a dash of the diabolical. DUENDE is a collaboration between Chef Paul Canales and impresario Rocco Somazzi, born from a common passion for creative soulful food, artisanal wines, beers and spirits and eclectic improvised music and art. Their cohorts in this venture are tech wiz and food enthusiast Tony Siress and strategic visionary and style mogul Alex Vorbeck.
