Land on S edge of town, between town & Missouri River, is owned by SD Dept. of Game, Fish and Parks & leased by the City of Oacoma for recreational purposes. City neither promotes nor prohibits camping here; all traffic is restricted to established unpaved roadways because remaining land leased out for hay farming; these roadways may be impassible following wet weather. Be aware of river stage and upstream flooding during flood season. Camping is restricted to established sites along river. No hookups, no water, no dump station; pack your trash out with you.
