Located next to the Missouri River there are plenty of places to stay that are flat. I will warn you NOT to try and drive or walk to the water over the river banks. It looks and feels very soft. I also recommend that you stay off anything that looks wet. If you drive across the grass areas you should only do it once or twice since the water table is high and the more you drive on the grass the lower you can sink. It’s not bad but you can hit a soft spot without warning.
Other then the soft areas or mud if it rains it’s a sweet spot. ATV access and miles of shoreline. If yoga die hard fisherman I’m sure you will find a path to the water.
You can hear the freeway but it’s nothing.
Directions by Google maps takes you right in. I went west 1 road and drove right in. Nice little turn around at the shoreline. So flat I didn’t even need to un hitch.

We have a 40' 5th wheel and a 3500 Ram 4x4 and we got parked fairly easily. There's not many great spots though. Someone got here just before us and was truck camping, but offered up the best spot so that we could have a nice place out of the way w/ our RV.
There was some rain recently, so there are some ruts to be mindful of on the way in. We walked most of the area and there are some deep ruts in some spots. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so we're going to head out early to not find out how gross it gets. We weigh a lot, so I'd rather not risk it. If we were in a smaller setup, I'd be a bit less paranoid and we'd probably stay longer.
Cell service:
T-Mobile is fluctuating between LTE and 5G, full bars. Got ~30Mbps on LTE and 90Mbps on 5G. Upload speeds are great as well. (using speedtest.net app on my phone)
Our Visible (Verizon reseller) plan is getting 40Mbps down / 7Mbps up with full bars, LTE.

Can’t believe this is a free camping option. Right along the river. One other van camper here, flat sites, easy access.

We enjoyed our 3day stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Vast open fields so extremely reliable location even on busy holidays. Spots on the water were awesome and the view is perfect. Got a lil windy one of the days but it kept the bugs and temps down. Bring your own bathroom.

Beautiful, spacious (really spacious)! Plenty of room for any size rig from a tent to the largest 5th wheel/ClassA. Plenty of space to turn around. We were here Oct 10 and it hadn’t rained for several days so ground was dry. There is evidence that if it rains some of the areas may warrant being careful before pulling in. Ground is pretty much level. Today it was windy and the water was choppy. Whole reason we selected this spot was to fish but not possible. With the wind and the water way down and muddy. Perhaps the spot on the other side of the river would have been better given the winds. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset, the whitetail, grouse, and pheasant. Easy access from I90 for all size rigs. Went for a wonderful walk as well. Would stay here again.
Verizon and TMobile service perfect.

This is a really beautiful spot. Maybe you will get luckier than I. We had some local young people come by in a hopped-up pickup tuck. They came though 8 or 10 times, every hour or so and drove by each camping spot, gunning their engine and digging ruts in the muddy parts of the road. They were racing by about 10 feet from my camper. These roads do not go anywhere except to the campsites, there was no need for these people to be going through there. It was stressful and they kept us awake.

there is a sign saying you can stay free form a maximum of 7days.
we were 6 rv's far apart for each other! Quit, nice breeze from the river and very quiet.
You can park on the side of the gravel road on the grass by the river.
Highly recommandable.
