As the Kaibab National Forest website states: "Marble Viewpoint offers a spectacular, panoramic view of House Rock Valley, Vermilion Cliffs, Marble Canyon, North Canyon and Saddle Mountain Wilderness." The view is spectacular beyond belief.
The road in is gravel and (if I remember correctly) approximately 20 miles from a Highway 67. There are a number of campsites at this location. It’s off the beaten path but I think any rig up to 25 feet would make it in without difficulty.
Cell service was decent enough for streaming but the 260 degree view was what captured my attention!

This campsite is absolutely beautiful, but if you don’t have a rig that can travel down 12 miles of a not very well maintained gravel road then don’t even consider this campsite. It is also very windy.

There are two sites, east and west. West is most wind-exposed, east has trees to shelter from west winds. Connecting road to east side is narrow and rutted, Need to have plenty of clearance for anything towed.
Vault toilet is about 6 miles away on connecting road. You will pass it on the way to your connecting road.
Scout road before you decide to leave the main road FR 610 to go onto FR 219. There is no place Where you can turn around. 219 is aspen lined and with all the wind there is subject to blow downs and possible mud.
If passable and you are small and self-contained with enough clearance getting there is good.
I tent camp and drive a 2 wd pickup so had no issues getting around.
Cell service is spotty. Verizon 3g is sporadic. Unknown what it will be like since the North Rim of GC NP is closed. I stayed there last in early Oct 2019 Before the snow and road closures.

Well off the beaten path, perfect spot for a few days of solitude. There were a couple of other campers here, but nothing like 611. Quite a way down the (well maintained) gravel road, but we are in a truck, so no trouble at all.
No services. Bring everything you will need, because you won’t want to leave!
We watched the storms roll through over the canyon. Even in July, it was chilly at night.

I didn’t camp here since the photos uploaded where of the open areas with no trees. When I explored the area I regretted that decision. Forest comes within 100 yards of the canyon edge. It was breathtaking! Plenty of room as there where 3 campers set up there.
Plenty of cell service at the edge of the canyon.
It’s a long drive in—about 12 miles on a dirt road. No big dips but the “gravel” on the road is more like 2” rocks so was pretty bumpy. Had a few deeper mud puddles just before the campsites

I drove in with a 4wd dually diesel. There was no need to use 4WD at any time. Road was wide the whole way. Road signs to viewpoint at every intersection. For rigs bigger than 30' I would only consider this if staying at least a week and you are fully contained (generator and plenty of water) . The only sharper turns are in lower 610, but even those were not bad. If a big rig just go slow and it will be fine. If you have a "toad" drive that up first to check it out. Since it is so early in season I did have to move some trees on road. I had some cell service T-mobile.

We brought our 19 foot Scamp for a few days. Very beautiful expanse area. There were other campers up there but not where we could see them. Quite a bit of traffic in and out to see/take pictures. Our second trip to the north rim and we were closer to seeing the edges of the canyon than the previous visit. We will come back next year but find a campsite on the edge of the canyon.
