Beauiful view of the river. Free parking; 3 covered pavilions; fishing pier and port-a-john's. Hours are Dawn to 10:30pm. No alcohol; pets and swimming allowed. This site offers a beautiful view of the Caloosahatchee River, 3 pavilions (no reservations) picnic tables from which to enjoy the view. It also offers a fishing pier. Temporary home for the Ft. Myers SailBoat Club. No Pets or Alcohol permitted. Lee County Parks and Recreation assumed responsibility for the North Shore Bridge Access from the state in August of 1987. The pier, added in 2000, was financed with proceeds from the 3-cent bed tax imposed on short-term tourist stays in Lee County.
