Quiet 🤫
Comfortable, family oriented.
Jim, an owner met us after hours, checked us in and assisted with parking the rig. Great experience and child friendly, will definitely be staying here again.
Great Job 👍🏻

About 30 minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg, Triple Creek Campground between Newport and Coby, TN is a nice park for families. We visited August 1 - 4, 2020. 3 adults, 1 Child (3), 1 Dog
Park:
When you pull in there's a little store/ office that carries souvenirs and a few things you may have forgotten. Across the field closer to the sites is men and women's restrooms/ showers that were clean. They have a stage area for movies and live music though due to the rona wasn't being used. The playground area has a new Gaga pit, a volleyball net and playground equipment that is in need of an upgrade, a little sketchy. There is no pool, but you have 2 of the 3 creeks you can play in. One is a little rapid and you can tube from one end to the other. The other is calm good for wading. But note the water is cold. Our rate above was our booked rate, we did receive the Good Sam discount at check-in.

Overall:
In hotel rankings this would be a lower end 3 star, affordable and still comfortable. I'm giving it 4 stars compared to other 3 star sites I've been to. In its current condition it is more suited for longer term campers not shorter stays, but it has alot of room to grow. I would love to see the nice family that owns the site be able to build on what they have, it has good a good foundation to build on.

We were super excited to stay here after some great reviews. The location is perfect to be out of the way of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Ford circus, and we loved the idea of being right on the creek.
The camp itself is pretty, and the creek is lovely. However, the sites are practically on top of each other. I’ve never been so close to another rig while camping. Additionally, we were wedged between permanent residents, which changes the feel of the campsite and appearance dramatically. It was so uncomfortable we cut our stay short moved to the KOA in Pigeon Forge — which should say everything.

We stayed here 4 nights at end of April 2021. Staff was friendly and helpful, sites were clean. Some sites looked cramped but the one we stayed in and most sites were not. We did not need to use the bath house so I can’t review that. There were a few full time residents but not many. There was a large grass common area in the center of the campground and streams bordering 3 sides of the campground. It was quiet & comfortable. We would stay here again.

This campground is a family-owned private park. To me, it seems to be a mix between a small private park and an RV Resort. The staff is very friendly. It is a gated area and you are given an RFid card at check-in to get through the gate. There are even two sensors at the gate, one lower to the ground for cars and one that is higher for trucks coming through with their rigs in tow. There is a large field in the center of the campground with a large playground. There are also soccer goals set up and the "red barn". They were supposed to have live music at the Red Barn while we were there, but unfortunately, it's been a rainy weekend. There was also a pretty organized Halloween theme throughout the campground with trick or treating on Saturday evening.
As far as the layout of the campground goes, I will say that most of the spots are closer together than I would prefer. They weren't as tight as some campgrounds in the area and we had about 10 ft from the front of our camper to the neighbor. So it's nowhere near the room of our favorite place in the area which was Honeysuckle Meadows. But I feel like there was more room than the other place that we have stayed which was Clabough's. It's also a little more than I prefer to pay at a campground. I personally try to stay around $30/night. I believe the nightly rate changes with the seasons, but it is currently $50/night. They do offer discounts for Good Sams as well as discounts for first responders.

We enjoyed our stay at this privately owned campground. We had a nice spot by the creek, it was well kept, and we loved listening to the creek. The grounds are very well kept and the employees are amazing. We do love the painted rock section, as my girl loves painting rocks. We weren't as happy with the street noise unfortunately. it's like nobody in the area has mufflers and your only 30 yards or so from the main highway. All in all i was pleased with the campground but honestly, my biggest disappointment was with the pump out. It's a somewhat tricky turn to get into it. There's a campsite right next to it, so much so, i had to move their pick nic table to be able to get to my pump out supplies. While i understand they're trying to keep the area beautiful, the river rock around the pump out will almost twist an ankle when your trying to traverse between your rig and the "wall" between you and the camp site. As i stated earlier, it's privately owned and i know they're trying to their best to give their guest a great experience. For those reasons, we'd stay here again. The minor inconveniences are not really that bad.

We have been camping at Triple Creek Campground for 4 years now. It is without doubt our favorite campground. We have come to know Jim and Kristy the owners and you couldn't meet two nicer people. The campground is so well kept and if you need anything Jim, Kristy or Michelle are right there to help with your need. They have tent camping and camper rentals as well. The campground is quiet and relaxing. They also have live entertainment on holidays. It's definitely a must come and try Campground you'll love it!
