The Thames Street Guest House is an Italianate Victorian home built in 1869 and designed by renowned architect George Champlin Mason. We are located steps from Newport’s downtown and waterfront/harbor areas and just a block away from the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau, which provides extensive information on area attractions, restaurants and shopping as well as a hub for bus, trolley & taxi transportation. Newport’s famous scenic Ocean Drive, Bellevue Avenue with its famed historic mansions, and several museums, art galleries and our beautiful beaches are less than a 10 minute drive.
