Nestled on a quiet street just off famed Bellevue Avenue, the Brinley is centrally located in Newport's Historic Hill District. Park in our ample off road lot and walk down cobblestone streets past hundreds of restored colonials on your way to tour the Touro Synagogue, Trinity Episcopal Church, the lavish mansions of the Gilded Age, or the Tennis Hall of Fame. Newport's Brinley Victorian Inn is one of the larger inns in Newport. It consists of two connected houses: one built circa 1850 has seven rooms; the other built circa 1870 has nine. Each house has it's own porch and a parlor where guests can opt to relax a while prior to the commencement of a busy day, or likewise, at the end of one. You may also choose to sit in the private courtyard, situated between the two houses, which is stocked during the spring and summer with a variety of flowers and plants. It's also an ideal spot to enjoy your lavish continental breakfast on sunny mornings (freshly baked and prepared by Jennifer), or maybe to sunbathe away from the hustle and bustle of Newport when the mood dictates.

We have stayed here two times,,, 4 nights each time. We love the location proximity to local restaurants and such. It is also very close to all of the wonderful Mansions.

The staff, at the time, remembered us and made us feel like we were family. The food was awesome, the staff/owners, were outstanding, and the room was outstanding. We would recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a family feeling atmosphere.
