Old-fashioned ranch setting where memories can be made. Campsites are set in mature trees next to a 2-acre lake on a family-owned 70-acre ranch.

The campground is on a pond. Very picturesque. The sites are well maintained and the owners space the RVs such that there is some social distancing. It's quiet at night, and you can hear the bull frogs as well as an occasional guitar. The owners meet you and show you to your site. I would like to come back when the COVID is over so I can meet some of the neighbors. They also have WIFI.

We absolutely loved our time at My Favorite Campground. The owners are some of the kindest people we have met and are always willing to help in any way. We love how secluded the camping area is, you truly feel like you are escaping all of the noise. It is safe, serene, and a great spot to camp! We would recommend this campground to anybody!

We stayed here and extended our trip , we loved it so much . It was so peaceful , beautiful and a super nice break from the packed in RV park ! We loved visiting with little goats and riding around the ponds . My kids loved all of the little play grounds all over as well .
We definitely hope to come back!

Very quiet place with lots of nature and beautiful small lakes. All sites are shaded (important in the area), pretty spacious for a private campground, and full hookups. We felt like we were in a state park but less crowded. We found a nest of red-tailed hawks in a tree on our site with 3 babies :-) The only real downside is that they are 25 minutes from Home Depot, Walmart, etc but there's a small town about 10 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return in December.

Judy made it very easy to make our reservation for our “shakedown” overnight with our new TT. The directions to the campground were detailed and made it easy to find. The owners were not there at the time of our arrival, but left our packet at the Welcome Center Sign. All sites are clearly marked and fairly level, utility posts are well maintained and functional. This was a very peaceful and beautiful campground, with lots of amenities. Judy, the owner, stopped by later to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely visit again!

This is a nice little campground. It's self check-in so you drive past the first building all the way back to the campground, choose your spot and then self-pay by putting your payment in the dropbox. Stayed here for 5 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. There were only a few other campers here, so it was very quiet. They don't allow alcohol, so I'm sure it is always a peaceful place to be. The campground is on a ranch. There are horses, goats and a pig! There is a little fishing pond. The entire property is quite idyllic. Owners are very friendly. Our site was pretty level with full hookups. Their free wifi was just as fast, if not better than our hotspot. There are restrooms, with showers, but we didn't use them. New Waverly has a few amenities, but we drove 30 minutes to Huntsville to do our grocery shopping at Walmart. Huntsville also has a nice state park with great hiking trails.

We just happened across this campground and are very thankful we did! We spent Labor day weekend here and it was not overly crowfed, like most parks. The owners were SO nice and welcoming! They even tried to help us when we locked ourselves out of our camper...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. This is such a lovely, country setting. A nice pond right in front of our camper, which was set up under some beautiful shade trees. I took the dogs for an early morning walk every day to visit the goats and enjoy the peaceful setting. The owners were very nice, friendly and helpful with advice on things to see and do in the area. I will definitely go back because this IS my favorite campground!
