Fun quick stop. My 2 and 4 year old kids loved the huge cow! You can see it in the distance as you drive up and then there is a windy, steep road to get to a parking lot at the base. Probably not goo in bad weather. A steep sidewalk leads to the cow. You can stand under it and touch it. Very cool! There is also a view of the wind farm and a picnic table. Free to enter with an optional donation box at the base. Easy on and off the highway.
Great random stop off the side of the road. Free to enter (but I did donate money in the entrance area). It’s a small drive up a dirt road, but worth the view and to see her. You can’t miss it when driving to get there.
Awesomely Huge Cow! Recently cleaned up, she looks like new (as of 2019). The road up to her is dirt/gravel, so we pulled over before we got to the top so we wouldn’t get stuck. Good view from the top, but be aware that the wind can get pretty intense. There are a couple gas stations and a little cafe nearby, the gas station we stopped in had really nice bathrooms.
