We had 3 kids and enjoyed the simple and fun playground and good size pool with a large shallow end so our 3 and 2 year old could walk around. The hook ups were older and no frills but worked fine. We didn't get to see the store because we came in late and left early but our short stay here was very for our kids! I couldn't hear road noise at our site but the pool and playground did have some highway noise.

Older park, very nice pool area. Nice grassy area next to pool to run around Gravel, sloped sites, but still able to level. Near the interstate so has some road noise. Appears to have several long term or permanent residents but area is tidy. Bath house needs attn, walls buckle a bit, floor isn’t clean, but toilets and sinks clean.

Quiet campground, no noise from interstate. Nice long pull thru sites for bigger rigs. Stopped for a night while traveling cross country. Didn’t have to unhook trailer. Nothing fancy, but quiet and well maintained.

We arrived after hours but with a phone call they accommodated us. It’s a fairly nice park, close to I-70 but low traffic noise. A couple of negatives was our space #3 was very uneven causing us to spend at least 20 minutes to get our trailer level. Other spaces looked more level but not all. The other negative would be the large amount of seasonal campers. Some areas were trashy.

The people in the office were very friendly, and the store had the feeling of nostalgia as if time had stood still from a place long ago! Unfortunately, that was the only positive experience!!!!!
The campground was too crowded. The sites were literally on top of each other!
I made my reservations 3 months ago! Still, I was told that I would be sharing my site with another couple who left their trailer at the back of the site, and we were supposed to stay where the tow vehicle was to park. We had full hookups, but the sewer line would not reach until I backed my rig to <1 ft from the trailer behind me!
It should NOT be like this!!!

We just took our grandkids here for a couple nights in our 36 foot motorhome. There is a row of nice pull-through sites at the edge of the big play field, which is where we stayed with FHU. There are also many shady back-in sites along the tree lines. I believe there are some W/E sites as well and a dump station. There are some full-time and seasonal sites that are nicely kept as well. There is a large salt-water pool that kids enjoyed using on the one warm day we had. Our grandson rode his bike around the grounds. They have games and puzzles for use, and movie rentals, firewood, and pizza for sale in the little camp store. There is a short hiking path in the woods, and it is only about five minutes from Graham Cave State Park for more hiking. The shower houses were newly renovated this year under the new ownership. We also had made reservations at Warm Springs Ranch in Booneville, MO, the Budweiser Clydesdale breeding facility, which is less than an hour from Hickory Ridge if you are looking for more sightseeing in the area.

We were heading to the state park at the end of this road and passed this little park. We figured we would pull in and see if they had a spot for us. We got a tent site for our Rooftop Tent with electric for $25 and the new owners are super nice. An added bonus is the pool and the little store has local frozen pizza and they have ovens (pizza in 8 mins).
Pool is nice, salt water filter. Bathroom with big shower stall was recently redone. Store has incidentals you might need for reasonable prices. Cash or card accepted. Will be stopping again on our way back by! They are improving the electrical and adding more 30A sites. Can’t hear highway.

Called last minute and thankful they could accommodate us. Very friendly staff, guided us to our site. Gravel road and sites in campground. All seemed level. Close to the Highway but never heard any road noise. Very quiet with just the birds!

Super friendly staff. Campground was clean & very well kept. Nice pull through spot we had for the night. Would definitely recommend if you’re traveling through Missouri. Also… it was so quite all you could hear was crickets off in the distance. It was great being close to interstate.

Very friendly staff. I called ahead to let them know we would be arriving after hours but when we pulled up there was a staff member waiting in her cart who guided us to our flat pull through site for our 32ft 5th wheel. Very quiet. We stayed for 1 night and would stay again and recommend to others. Hickory Ridge was right off the freeway, easy to find and an easy approach with our 50ft total length set up.
