Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 11, 2022Delightful park for families. Large park with different levels for RVs. Ours was pretty level in one of the few pull throughs. Our site has some trees around so no satellite. WiFi only in office and no cable. Only two washers and two dryers in whole park. Beautiful grounds of rolling grass and trees covered areas. Mostly full time residents from what we could see. They were going to host a Halloween party for local kids in town. No close grocery stores so went into South Bend.

We made a reservation to set-up shop for a month here, and the reservationist was very nice and helpful - especially being that we called a week before and the month lapsed the Memorial Day holiday.
The front end of the park (office, playground, picnic area, pool, volleyball court) is really nicely maintained. When we arrived a very nice tall, slender gentleman took a look at our rig and said something to the extent that we might want to drive the towed down to see the spot first.
The roads to the campsites were narrow, graveled, pot holed, and have wash-out points - and go up and down little hills. Fine, fine - if the site was decent we would risk the getting stuck. Except the sites are not decent here. You leave the front area of the park and - BAM - not nice. The sites are crammed closely together and any open sites were littered with trash and old tables etc. Our designated spot was littered, grass/dirt, about 40' long, and very unlevel. It was really sucky. We make a point to confirm that campgrounds can fit us (we know we're big). This place really could not fit us.
I really want to give this place a higher rating - based solely on our experience with the tall slender gentleman, who helped us get a refund for our deposit (and then fronted the cash for it out of his own wallet), then helped us 5 point turn around to get our big butts out of the campground.
If you've got a smaller rig (maybe less than 35' or a tow behind) and like neighbors, then this place probably isn't too bad. The front desk folks mentioned they are working on improvements. I also feel like it's the type of place that's a 'community' of regulars and folks who leave their rigs there year round. The place was full when we arrived and it didn't look like most of the rigs had moved in a while.
Anyways, we didn't stay. But again, we're grateful they gave us a refund. And can see potential for the place. And also the staff is really nice. But... yeah. Crap sites.

Filthy and run down. Pictures on their website is very deceiving. Mini golf and playground equipment are broken and unsafe. Laundry facility doesnt work properly. Major potholes in all roads. Trees down everywhere. Garbage and abandoned campers throughout.

We needed a last minute place to stay when another spot fell through. Staff was very nice and even drove us to our spot. The campground seems very family and pet oriented which is great. Spots are very small and it is a little crowded though, although we’re just passing through so it’s alright with us! Very peaceful at night. There is a 2 night minimum stay for the weekend!

This campground is more for weekenders & local vacationers than for overnight or weekly RV'ers. Lots of seasonal spaces occupied mostly on the weekends. Good place for kids, nice playground, games & pool. There is only one bathhouse for the entire CG so you need to drive if you're in one of the far sites and then there is limited parking around the bathhouse & laundry. Some sites were 30amp, some 30 & 50amp. The staff was nice and accommodating. Because we reserved late in the season due to changes, we were assigned 'overflow' which was only one site overlooking a meadow with only water & 30amp. Fortunately we took a drive from our previous CG to check this a couple days before scheduled arrival. Glad we did. The driveway going down to that area had overgrown limbs that would have scrapped our trailer roof & sides and there were ruts in the drive making arrival and departure very rough. We then negotiated for an alternative and was given #17 and it looked ok. However, the day we arrived with trailer and after unhooking and attaching the electrical to 50amp, the surge protector indicated 5vac on the ground so we changed to a 30amp at #8. The 30amp was not consistent as our solar/batteries were having to compensate more than usual. Because most sites are seasonal they are not mowed by the CG, only the common areas are mowed. We carry a weed eater so we cleaned up our area as best we could. Most neighbors were friendly even-tho most were only there on weekends. They did have game activities mostly on weekends and good walking trails, however, everything needed maintenance. Trees all around the sites were full of dead limbs and any good wind storm will surely bring some down. All the drives need grading and maintenance. Many sites need new gravel as grass is growing within the existing. Some sites will flood during heavy rains, some sites have no grass due to heavy shade, others are in direct sunlight. Provisioning is best in South Bend including a very nice laundromat.

Got tickets to the OSU / ND game and this was the only place that could take our rig w/last minute request. It is as others have mentioned, old, lots of perm or weekend campers. Nice entrance but that’s where it stopped. There is nothing to enjoy here.
