Should be noted.. This is a 55 & older campground.

We had difficult time as google maps makes you take a right toward the bridge instead of left towards the golf course and entrance. Once you cross the bridge over Colorado river you are into AZ. Do do there to fill gas if you want to arrive in Oatman, A.Z on Route 66. Gas is cheaper if you skip the first Mobil station as you go down the bridge and drive another mile or so on 95.

Location next to river is great.

$70 a night was steep for what this place offers .

This is not a destination place but if you are traveling through, not bad. We couldn’t make a reservation but the lady on the phone guaranteed there would be room and boy was there. Once we found the place (don’t trust Google) there was no one to greet us, only a sign as to what to do. We didn’t realize we would need cash or a check. For us, challenging. It was not a pretty site but then, violá, we found the Colorado River and access for the dog. Dogs were enjoying running around and swimming at the beach. For us, this was a gift after a long day of travel. We sat on the beach and our dog played. Good enough! Nothing more, nothing less, just a parking lot with a river.

Create location to stay if in a trailer or motorhome. One area is all asphalt and the other side is all dirt. Bathrooms are always clean and the staff in maintenance and the front office are very nice. Suggest that the owner pay for the permit and help to make the lagoon, "Beautiful again" and "Usable for water craft and boats" to anchor and buoy close to their sites. Also, add good size shade areas in picnic grass area with tables and at some RV sites.... If that happens then it would be a 5+ rating!
