We were able to stop here on our visit to Boulder at an open spot, there were plenty of spots, the facilities were clean and in good working order.

Great spot. $25/night. 20 of the spots are first come first serve. We stayed in one of those. We have 38’ camper and was able to find a spot. Not all spots would have fit for us but a few were big enough. They have 2 water spigots for the entire campground to get fresh water but no actual hookups

I booked a site here last minute due to a Covid-19 campsite cancellation in RMNP. The campground is clean and easy to access. I stayed at the end of July and the temps were perfect. I was able to get 1 bar of 5G on AT&T. My kids loved the play structure. It is a bit of a drive (60+ minutes) to get to the National Park from the campground but given the circumstances....... Otherwise, great campground, I would stay again.

We spent 5 nights here in the middle of July to escape the heat at lower elevations. The CG was very quiet, offers some hiking on former forest service roads, and was quite scenic overall. Didn't have any cell service at our campsite, so we drove toward Nederland when we needed it. Access was easy, a short 4 miles south of Nederland, which is a pretty little town with bars, groceries, and restaurants when desired.

This was a good option after not finding much availability at other campgrounds. They have a first come first serve loop that is not listed on the website. AT&T was come and go. Sometimes we could get 10-15mpbs down and other times it was barley 1-2mpbs. Not all sites are level and no hookups, but our daughter enjoyed the playground and it was quick to get into town.

this campground is lovely, so clean and quiet. many of the sites have pines for shade and hanging hammocks on. they clean the bathrooms 3x a day which is really great. they use deodorizers that are way too strong and my clothes smelled of them for quite a while after. but it’s ok because it’s clean.
the cell service comes and goes. but most of the time it was 2 or 3 bars for att.

What a nice camp ground. The hosts kept the rest rooms very clean. Most of the sites are exposed to the sun but there's a few in the FCFS loop that have nice large pine trees providing shade. Each site has newer bear food lockers.

Stopped in without a reservation and there were plenty of sites available. Fair-sized sites with easy in and out. No cell service.

Quiet and clean. Pit toilets.
Downfall, mosquitoes were terrible.
Good half way point between Rocky Mountain NP and I-70 for some fun white water rafting.
