Staff was incredibly nice and the grounds were immaculate! Bathrooms were large and clean and laundry room was clean. We were on the end of the second row and had an amazing view. Our only complaints: really loud as it's right off the main street and for the price you pay it should be adults only. Way too many kids running around being loud. We witnessed on multiple occasions were kids on bikes almost got hit bc they were flying into the road from empty sites or riding around at night. Also, we witnessed a camper get hit hard with a baseball and our dog (blind) get hit in the face with a frisbee by the same kids. Also, be alert for other dogs. They state they don't allow certain breeds but our first week there the site in front of us had a rottie that charged after us and several other folks and any dog that came near it. I honestly feel for the price/night that rules should be enforced. Other than that the place is great!

Overall the park is beautiful and does have the "resort" feel. Beautiful paved sites, lush landscaping, pool, gas fire area for socializing. We stayed for five months. The park manager assisted with direct line internet from Mediacom prior to arrival. I work F/T. The road noise and sirens can be distracting at first but you get used to them. What was super annoying is the garbage collection service at 3am. Additional parking is available for a second vehicle. Very accommodating on packages and mail. I will say that the winter weather was less than ideal, however I understand the panhandle of FL is cooler than central FL. We enjoyed our stay and will return again. **Price reflects monthly winter rate**

Left Gulf State Park due to Hurricane. Rude at booking. Rude at check in. Refused to answer questions. Told to read my packet. Never checked on us before or after Hurricane. Got a lecture when my clothes wasn’t finished by time they wanted to lock door. Told I should have brought my kids to do laundry instead of going to beach. Their pool and beach was closed.

Amazing RV Resort. Sights are small but private due to landscape. Very noisy due to road nearby. That is expected in an urban area. This is the type of park an urban resort should strive to be.

I booked a 3 month snow bird special but expectations didn’t measure up! Prices went up , xtra charges that I wasn’t notified about after I booked reservations! The sites are narrow, the plantings are nice but they water every nite and always water on my patio. When I complained I wasn’t given a warm welcome . I would not stay here again , the cost just isn’t worth it.

I loved Santa Rosa! The sites have nice palm trees and tropical foliage to help provide shade. Nice paved site that was extra long for us (30ft travel trailer). The laundry and bath facilities were nice and clean. The pool was amazing. The community area was nice. My family loved being on the Santa Rosa Sound beach. Very fun for my toddler. The playground was not great, but it made due. We received packages there and it was nicely organized. The sites are a little tight but it wasn’t an issue. I did not think it was loud like the other reviews and I have a toddler that is sound sensitive for sleeping. Not an issue. We stayed at Navarre Beach Camping Resort after this place and I desperately wanted to go back to Santa Rosa. Couldn’t even compare.

The location is nice, good concrete pads and facilities nice. But i just cant get over the staff (most of them), were not friendly at all! Whenever i walked into the office to inquire about something, nobody even smiled or greeted or appeared as if they even wanted to look at me let alone help me. One of the thing they boast on their website is a firepit. I was really looking forward to a fire while celebrating my 50th birthday in late March in northern Florida. It still dips into the 50’s overnight there at that time of year, perfect fire weather. They would only say that the firepit area was “closed for the season” (as of the week before our vist). They said kids throw things into the fire and parents dont mind their kids, so they shut it down. They simply didnt want to set it up again for me even though i asked nicely for access to the firepit, which is right out in the open for anyone to sit there with adirondack chairs and everything. They just wouldnt provide wood so we could us it. Seeing all these other places available on campendium, i now realize i dont NEED a good sam membership, which is how i found this place originally. Anyway, based on customer service, 0 stars! Go elsewhere, there are plenty of choices in the area!

This was one of the nicest RV Parks we've ever visited! Our site was right on the beach and worth the extra money to us (sorry but we paid so long ago to get a reservation and I don't remember how much). The heated pool was large and surrounded by lounge chairs, tables & chairs etc. There is another lounge area outside in front of the community house with a fire pit. Both places had propane heaters for this time of year. In the four nights we were there, there was a pot luck, live music with chili & cookies, and a coffee & donut morning! We missed the water aerobics the next morning. Wow! Everyone was so friendly. The National Seashore Park is right across the bridge with gorgeous beaches and great bike paths. Lots of good restaurants close by. We'll be back and stay much longer. It is expensive, but worth the price for us.

Currently here right now and still have 2 weeks left. I’m actually quite surprised this is only rated 3 stars on Campendium. This is our very first camping trip so keep that in mind with this review. Campground is very well shaded and much more shaded than any other campground nearby which is a huge plus. Full hookups! Campground is connected to the water with small “beach” access. Or really suitable for swimming but it’s still on the water and Navarre beach is less than 2 miles. They have a nice pool with about 10 chairs shaded and a grilling area. Only complaints in this area is the grills don’t work. Laundry services and shower/bath on site (4 shower stalls). Showers cleaned daily and were for the most part clean other than other campers making a mess. There’s about 50-60 sites and they are tight fittings in my opinion. That is probably the biggest downfall. I have a 39 foot camper and I could not fit my truck in also and had to park perpendicular, which isn’t a big deal. But there’s only about 8 feet of concrete space after you get situated. I will say that it gets loud at night because you are attached to the main road but you get used to it with acs running and the tv on. Overall, I would easily stay here again and am so glad my first camping trip was as nice as this one! The only reason this was not given 5 stars is because the sites were too small and trees needed trimmed on most sites because they grew into the spot and it often would hit vehicles, awnings, or tents popped up.
