Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 03, 2022Very nice park with concrete pads, 20/30/50 at every site, a pool, a sunning beach on the Santa Rosa Sound, and friendly folk. One day I'll book early enough to get one of their coveted beachfront sites. It's conveniently located to access the Navarre Beaches to escape the crowds of Destin, and it's close to a Winn Dixie and a Walmart for those who don't want to be too far from all those things you forgot to pack. AT&T 4G LTE was fast and I had no problems working.

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, great views for each! Definitely a park aimed at the retiree crowd, not families (hence the $4 per kid PER NIGHT charge- outrageous). Old man on golf cart fussed at us for dog poop that wasn't ours.
Mobile internet was all over the place. At times, pretty good (30 mbps down/10 up), and others non-existent. It is 5 minutes from beautiful Navarre Beach across the bridge. They have a small man-made beach (because this place is on the sound, not the beach)- and that was great for the kids. Also, make sure to see the the Blue Angels practice in Pensacola and go to Joe Patti's seafood for fresh catches from the sea.

RV park was right on the main Hwy-98. It was very clean and well maintained. Cement pads. Some had shade. It has a small beach right on Santa Rosa Sound with a little pier. Staff was friendly. Nice pool. Little laundry room. Had a little military noise one night. Reasonable rate for the area. Would recommend it.

We stayed one night (March 8th) in site #007.
This campground is super cute, and well taken care, but honestly it was a lot for just an overnight stay. We were trying to use a AAA discount, but it had expired. If we had realized that before, we would have tried looking for a different campground.
Showers and bathrooms are very clean, and the office was welcoming and friendly. We didn’t use the other amenities like the pool or the little private beach. Our site was right against the fence and the tree next to us held some extremely noisy birds. Not a ton of privacy in the sites. It seemed like everyone had two or three dogs — seriously, there were so many dogs.
Wifi was strong and fast, although the park’s policies prohibit streaming videos or downloading content, with some vague suggestions of action or fines taken against you if you’re caught doing so. Honestly, we streamed Hulu for a few hours at night and didn’t have a single moment of buffering or anybody knocking on our door so... not sure why that policy is enforced or not.
We would recommend this campground for somebody who’s going to be spending more time in the area, or if you can find a discount. But like we said, it was expensive for us for just an overnight.

Great no frills park right on the Santa Rosa Sound. They have Good Sams discount. Sites were close with concrete. Some road noise so try and get a site closer to the water, not the road. The draw to this park is the location. Nice beach area with covered, raised patio on the beach. About a .50 mile walking beach too. The pier was destroyed in the September hurricane, but they hope to rebuild by spring. Staff was really nice and facilities, laundry and bathrooms were very clean and up to date. Several full time RVers who travel were here which was nice for us since we do the same. Navarre is quiet, not big tacky beach area. There's a bridge over to Navarre beach which is beautiful! Lots of beach access and parking. The National Seashore was closed also due to hurricane damage but we road our bikes down the road for 8 miles which was amazing! I would definitely stay here again.

Decent park but Very overpriced. Pretty small spots length wise for how much u pay per night. Concrete pads where soso and hardly any grass. For the price per night I would expect to have nice trimmed grass and spots long enough so that my truck and trailer actually fit. I’m 59’ long. Lots of other campers in the same situation of sticking over into the road. The beach they have is awesome and a very nice fishing pier.

Nice home base for a couple days with some nice amenities too. Concrete level spots with full hookups. Ours was shaded too. Spots are close but everyone was respectful of keeping their things on their “property” and it was quiet clean and felt safe. Laundry, small pool, private beach and boardwalk, fenced dog beach, kayaks available, wifi but it was SLOW and weird rules about streaming. Nice to be close to restaurants and Destin. Depending on where you’re parked you could hear some road noise and hear military gunships shooting at night but it didn’t bother us.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Louisiana. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The lots were cement and close together. Pull through lots were reserved for short stays. Full hookups work great. There is a nice pool and beach area where you can lounge and enjoy a scenic view. Tiki huts provide a nice shaded area for picnics. We plan to visit again in the future. It is a family friendly site where children will really enjoy their stay.

Easy in from Highway 98. Leaving requires timing your exit with the raceway traffic, then making a u-turn when there is a break in the traffic. There is an extreme amount of traffic noise from Highway 98, which is really, apparently a raceway for all the cars and motorcycles. Constant full speed passes are allowed by the local Sherrifs. In between are sirens from all manner of emergency vehicles. At night there is artillery noise from Eglin AFB.The sound of freedom to most, but it gets tiresome eventually.
The work campers seem to pick and choose what areas to clean up. A boy band parked next to us, and when they were there a rancid urine smell eminated from their class A. upon leaving a large fluid stain was deposited on their site. I told management, who did drive by and look at it, but never cleaned it up. A family then arrived and their kids walked/played in it. EW!
The Wi-Fi totally sucks. 19 mbps max, but it wavers from 0 to 19 in 15 minute intervals. They know it and don't care.
Otherwise its very close to the water with a nice pier and fishing cabana. Close to Navarre Beach and pier. If you want to deal with the traffic!!

We got lucky at the last minute to get a site. Friendly office staff and when we arrived we were greeted nicely. Sites are clean, a tad bit tight but they work well with it being a beach destination. A very nice play park for the dogs and a little beach section for them too. We enjoyed the little beach with chairs to relax and catch a few rays.
Be aware the toll with a fifth wheel is $15. Vehicles $5
