“open everyday, year-round”
Nashville's Public Market. Open everyday and all year. Fresh produce, restaurants, shops and weekend flea market. Our South Farm Sheds consists of two large covered sheds and a middle market area home to anywhere from five to one hundred farmers, artisans, & merchants. All year round, you will find ranchers, bakers, prepared foods, soaps, milk, cheese & more-especially on our busiest days Friday-Sunday. For our farmers & produce merchants--the busiest season is "growing season" approximately May-November each year. Beginning in April you will find early spring produce which weather-willing, which gradually develops into "peak season" in which you'll find the largest variety of locally-grown foods to November which closes out our produce with the last of late harvest. Seven days/week, 362 days per year-you can purchase produce, jams, honey, canned goods, and more from five locally-owned & operated businesses who have been at NFM for generations.
The Nashville Public Market is also the first stop on Nashville's famous Nash Trash Tour! Look for the big pink bus, and get ready to take the most amazing, gossip filled tour of Music City you could possibly ask for!
The city's year-round market has beefed up its offerings. Outside, dozens of local farmers set up shop under awnings to sell produce for as long as their seasons allow. Inside, a wide variety of local merchants fill the kiosks of the main building, so you can try cupcakes, brick-oven pizzas, barbecue and even beer on tap. A regular roster of events means there's never a shortage of opportunities to taste and browse.
