The Crying Wolf

The Crying Wolf is the Cheers of East Nashville. Everyone knows everyone's name, and if you walk in, they are welcoming and you are like family too. A friend of our was part of a vintage pop up shop here the day we came through town so we lucked out on even finding this bar. The decor is beautiful. Beautiful wood, high ceilings, plenty of space. The owners of the bar are a group of gents from LA who had the concepts and moved to Nashville to execute in this up and coming neighborhood. This is why it has become the cornerstone of the development of the East Nashville scene. We left town the next day, but The Crying Wolf was celebrating its anniversary and had "Splashville Nashville" and essentially created a water park in the expansive patio area with food trucks and and outside bar. We were so tempted to stay but decided to keep moving on to the next city. Verdict: Cruise on through, Have a burger and try a Steigl Radler Grapefruit. Yum. Read more
