Not only has the Pantry become a Nashville tradition, it has become a family one as well. I began learning the ropes in the kitchen when I was ten years old and, at one time or another, my siblings, nieces and nephews have joined us. Now I have two daughters, Taylor and Lisa, who I hope will help in continuing the tradition.
I’m often asked about our ingredients. I make several runs a year to the hills of East Tennessee to retrieve our specialty ground flours and they, along with our syrups, are prepared fresh each day from top secret recipes.

here as a child. Their invaluable experience is a major contributor to what makes us work. In the truest sense, we are a “mom and pop” store, a rarity these days. We strive to keep past successes alive while cultivating innovative ideas to make the Pantry the best it can be. We feel the same way about our customers as we cherish our long time “regulars” and yet look forward to meeting our newest customers.
