The restaurant is World Famous for its "Kickin' Chicken" white bbq sauce. has been serving Nashville the best hickory smoked barbecue for over 25 years. Hog Heaven has also been featured on Food Network's "Best Thing I Ever Ate" in 2010 and "Best Of Street Vendors" in 2004. The outdoor seating and take-out style restaurant lets one enjoy the beauty of the park and smell of the hickory wood burning on the smoker. A souvenir hat or shirt and a bottle of your favorite sauce are also available to take home as bragging rights to friends and family.

If you blink you'll miss it! Totally worth the stop. We went to Hog Heaven after a walking tour of the Parthenon. Great little place. Food was excellent with a good portion of food for the price. An adult and small child could easily eat off one plate. Service was fast! The white BBQ sauce reminds me of comeback sauce and was excellent. If you aren't a pickle person make sure to ask them to leave them off so they don't ruin your cornbread pancake!
