“A unique nashville culinary experience”
Fresh, local and creative, the Flyte aims for a casual but elegant fine-dining experience. It’s sophisticated, romantic, comfortable and lively, just four blocks south of the Music City Convention Center, between the busy downtown district and the hip neighborhood of The Gulch. The local, sustainable cuisine, exceptional wines and fine craft beers at Flyte have excited both locals and travelers. Wine director and co-owner Scott Sears gives diners the chance to sample both new and familiar wines; his cellar has landed Flyte on Open Table’s 100 Most Notable wine lists in the U.S. Chef Matthew Lackey trained at the Culinary Institute of America and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. But his upbringing on his grandparents’ Middle Tennessee farm and the hours spent watching his grandmother cook at Cricket’s Diner gave him a deep appreciation for locally grown foods. His cuisine showcases the world-class farm-to-table foods of Middle Tennessee and reminds diners of the community formed around food. The menu is designed for three- and four-course meals, so prepare for a leisurely pace.
