“daisy dukes and fast cars”
If you love THE DUKES OF HAZZARD (And Americans of all ages do), you will love a visit to Cooter’s Place. This is Nashville’s one and only Dukes of Hazzard Museum and Shop, operated by none other than ol’Cooter himself. Ben Jones, who played the Duke Boy’s stalwart sidekick, is your host at this tribute to Hazzard County. This expanded museum features Pictures, Props, Costumes, and Memorabilia from the beloved hit television show. Also displayed are Cooter’s Tow Truck, Daisy’s Jeep, Rosco’s Patrol Car, and of course, a General Lee, the 1969 Dodge Charger which has achieved iconic status among fans of the show.
Great place! Loved it and totally worth the drive off the exit and willie Nelson and friends museum next door!!!
If you watched the Dukes of Hazard, a must stop.
We found this to be a huge tourist trap. They have a lot of memoribilia, it looks like a garage sale. The souvenirs were twice the price of any other shops we encountered. $2 for a postcard?
Not a lot to see. The bar next door is awesome!!
Super cool stop! If you ever enjoyed Dukes of Hazzard, definitely take a few minutes to check out Cooter's. Not only are there several fun vehicles on display, but just about every pieces of DOH merchandise that ever existed as well as props from the show and a fun gift shop.
Not worth stopping, small building
This was the place. Saw it here and as an avid fan as a child, this made all my dreams come true. The General Lee and Cooters rig out front, to the amazing displays inside. This is a must see for any fan. Staff was great as well.
Worth the stop.
Cool memorabilia. Daisy store, cooters place then Willie's next door. Items are averaged price but add up quickly
Neat and fun memorabilia, especially if ur a Dukes of Hazzard fan.
