Since you carry your own luggage to your room, you may want to pack several smaller bags instead of one large one, as they will be easier for you to transport up and down the stairs. Spa toiletries with green tea extracts and organic olive soaps are provided in the private bathrooms at Merlot House, an Old World Inn. A free evening wine reception is featured at the wine cellar across the street at the Hotel Napa Valley. A made from scratch two-course breakfast is included with each room. The breakfast is served in the Cabernet House dining room next door from 08:30- 10:00 daily. Breakfast in room service can be arranged at an additional charge. Chocolate nibbles are served after 19:00 next door at the Cabernet House. Guests at the Merlot House can also enjoy the fire pit area at the Cabernet House next door as well. Foodie delights at Oxbow Public Market and kayaking along the Napa River is 15 minutes’ walk away. Sacramento International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport are within 1.5 hours’ drive of Merlot House.
