The camp was clean. It has a nice park area for kids to play. There is a river close by you can swim in. Kids loved it. The site is right off the Avenue of the Giants which is really nice.
I'm sitting here with my main squeeze, next to a river with my fire cooking me a hobo dinner while drinking a whiskey coke. This place is my jam. I love it!
This place felt very homie. The owners were extremely nice and the facilities were very clean. The whole rv is surrounded by beautiful trees and a beautiful clear Creek that runs along beside it. My girls had fun trying to skip stones. The area is pretty leveled and it is really close to Ave of the Giants. We will definitely be going back to visit!
Owners are very nice, $10 less than other campgrounds during off season. Surrounded by a trailer park, and the campsites are out in the open no privacy or woodsy feeling at all despite being right off the Ave of The Giants. Good enough if you're just passing through and need a place to crash, but not true camping by my Oregonian standards.
Lovely place! Never mind the neighbors. Bathrooms are heated, even in winter.
Conveniently located off hwy 101 for our needs traveling north, but our site was not very level and all gravel, making it very dusty. Biggest issue was the oak tree in our friend's site next to us (14) was dying and full of bugs, which were everywhere! Our friends were still finding them in their truck/trailer several days after we left. The tree also dripped black stuff all over the top of our slide.
Pros: the park was very quiet (stayed on a Wednesday), the staff was very friendly, and the wifi worked good. There is a fenced dog area. Did not use the bathrooms.

This park was a great fit for our 28ft TT. We opted for a pull thru site that was completely leveled and had amazing sights. The showers were hot and clean and our kids loved the park. Our family spent a lot of time down at The Eel River that was a short walk from our house. The views of the park with the river and Redwoods is unforgettable. We brought our 2 dogs and during our 2nd stay were told they had a breed restriction against pit bulls (which we have 1). They could of asked us to leave, but instead we’re nice enough to let us stay - we really appreciated that. The cost of this place is expensive, but it is conveniently located and provides all the amenities.

A wonderful campground and rv park in the very heart of the Avenue of the Giants. As of 2017, under new ownership, and it shows. Located right on the South Fork Eel River, clean, well-maintained, and boasting excellent wifi. The owners and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, providing us tips on where to go for the big trees, and where to find the best swimming holes along the river. Will certainly return.
