The Murphys Historic Hotel

In the very heart of Murphys is the picturesque old hotel now called the Murphys Historic Hotel. Some believe that some guests checked in, but never checked out as there are reports of at least three different ghostly entities haunting the inn. People claim a mischievous ghost, possibly that of a child, haunts the lobby and first floor with many people claiming to have seen objects moving around. Other’s believe that the ghosts of a former maid and a prospector who died falling off the balcony also remain haunting the hotel.
