Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 10, 2023We recently had the pleasure of staying at Foxfire of Murphy RV Park for our second visit, and it continues to exceed all expectations. The breathtaking views, serene atmosphere, and the pride the owners take in maintaining this gem make it a standout choice. Conveniently located in Murphy, NC, it's also close to TN and GA.
The spacious full hookup sites provided plenty of room for our travel trailer plus two vehicles, and the reliable WiFi ensures you stay connected. The dedicated dog area and well-kept walking trails make it a haven for both two and four-legged guests. Impeccably clean bathrooms and laundry facilities add to the overall comfort. Foxfire of Murphy RV Park is a true haven for RV enthusiasts seeking a peaceful and charming getaway. We will definitely be back and have already referred several of our friends too!

The owners, Joy and Bryan, were so friendly! They made us feel like part of their family. They welcomed us personally when we arrived and even gave us a gift of all the ingredients to make some delicious s’mores. This campground is a hidden jewel and we will definitely be returning again! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to camp, this is the one!

In Our Mid 70’s, we are total newbies to the world of RVing…so we decided to do a trial run near home. Foxfire was our choice of campgrounds and we certainly chose correctly. Foxfire is a gem hidden away in a mountain valley of rolling pastureland and woodlands. Family owned and operated, Charles, Brian and Joy are terrific folks who want nothing more than your visit to be a terrific stay…And Ours Was! Plenty to do In the area from white water sports and hiking to dozens of artisans and fine mountain crafts to Harrah’s Casino there Is plenty to keep one busy for day outings. My favorite time spent was sitting around our campfire watching the full moon come up over the mountains…breathtaking! We will go back any chance we get.

Small family owned campground set in the North Carolina foothills. Sites are spacious and meticulously groomed. If you are looking for "peaceful and cozy" this is the place. The owners and the park manager are very welcoming and helpful. Full hookup sites. On site bathhouse, laundry and WiFi. Campground sits at the base of several acres of rolling pasture, w/ mowed trails. Great for walking your dog. We will be back!

We had our first stay here the week of July 4th and found the campground to be very clean and kept up. The owners personally welcomed us and the camp host came over to give us all the information we might need. It is a newer campground and they have just finished the bathhouse. We are self-contained and did not use the bath house so I can't comment on that. The sites are terraced on a hill and have a good amount of space between them. They are gravel and not all very level. Our site was very long with room for our 40' MH and our Jeep with room to spare. We were able to get level pretty easily on our site. As soon as we got hooked up to shore power, a storm ran through and knocked out all the power and internet to the entire area. The owners and camp host were very helpful and kept us posted via text message regarding service restoration. We were allowed to run our generator all night so we could run the AC and when we needed to get more gas in order to keep running the generator, they graciously offered to loan us gas cans - which enabled us to run our generator the next night. What could have been a stressful stay was made much better by their willingness to keep everyone posted with what they were being told by the power company; and help wherever they could. Once the internet was back up it was very fast and I was able to work remotely and we were able to stream TV shows. This campground is off of a 4-lane highway on a small country road but we were able to get through there just fine. It was nice and dark out at night and I could see a million (possibly fewer stars and satellites on a clear night. There are a few full-timers living in the park but everything is kept very nice.

We chose Foxfire for our first trip with our new RV. We couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The views were spectacular and the facilities were clean and well-kept. We loved the close proximity to Blairsville, Blue Ridge and McCaysville.

We stopped for one night and will be back. This is a 1 year old campground situated on a hillside overlooking pastures and a mountain top. It’s very quiet and serine. The gravel sites are big with lots of room In between. I really like the sites next to the creek and trees. There are some pull through sites throughout the park. All sites are full hookup. WiFi was strong. The owners, Joy and Bryan are very nice and were super accommodating. They let us come in late, choose one of the two sites that were available and leave a little after checkout. Much appreciated! I believe the campground will only get more beautiful as the trees, shrubs and flowers mature. Oh, there are a lot of white water rafting companies near by. The road leading to the campground is a little twisty but no big deal for our 35’ pulling a jeep. The main road is quiet. I heard no road noise.
