Built in 1917 as a school for African Americans. Features restored classroom, Civil War exhibit and local history exhibits. Now celebrating its 200th anniversary, the Bradley Museum includes exhibits on the Underground Railroad, U.S. Colored Troops, Rutherford County history and school history. As part of the anniversary events, Bradley Academy Historical Association will host a Heritage Festival on Saturday, Oct. 12, with family events, entertainment, vendors, turnip green cook-off contest, auto show, horseshoe tournament and more.
