“waterfall hidden away in Munising”
Even among the Upper Peninsula's many wonderful waterfalls, Tannery Falls is special. It's in a canyon-like setting, with the bonus of an equally wonderful short sandstone walk to reach it. Tannery Creek drops almost 40 feet here, first in steps, and then in a one fell swoop.
One of the coolest falls, it is a cave like fall and you can embrace the fall by standing under it. It is very refreshing. This fall is hard to find, but it is worth it once you do. Not many people know about this fall. Here is some info to help you find it. http://www.gowaterfalling.com/waterfalls/tannery.shtml
Enjoy!
Wasn't able to get here as there was construction blocking the road getting to it.
Tannery and Twin Falls are CLOSED until FURTHER NOTICE
