waterfall
Miner falls, in my opinion, is a MUST SEE in the pictured rocks area. The hike to get to it is a walk in the forest to get there but the walk itself is filled with beautiful trees to admire all the way there.
Once you get to the falls you will be on a viewpoint and the photo you can get from there alone is awesome! Then if you are daring make sure to climb down to the stream itself as the falls look much larger and more intense from below!
There is also a little cave like place behind the falls on the right side that is really cool :)
If your are travelling anywhere near Munising, take the time to see Miners Falls!
The best excursion on our entire road trip! A short walk along the path through the forest brings you to the observation deck. We then chose to climb down past the deck to the bottom of the falls which wasn't too difficult and a great place to take a picture. It gets misty down there though!
Additionally, off of the path to the observation deck (on the right hand side when you're going TO the deck) is a small trail that leads to the top of the waterfall! We were able to look over the drop off which was incredibly cool.
