Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on April 24, 2022We expected a quality COE campground and got a run down unmaintained dive. The sites were covered with pine straw, pine cones, and leaves. The power pedestals were full of dirt daubers and wasps. There wasn't a COE employee or host on site though we did speak to a ranger who was driving by. This campground is remote, a 30 minute drive from Memphis, and the natural beauty we expected would have been worth the drive. But this place is clearly DONE. We tried several sites to get our 25 ft class C motorhome level in and it wasn't anywhere close. We left and went elsewhere considering the non-refundable fee a donation to support the lovely ranger station.

Dub Patton is a quiet, lightly used COE park on an absolutely beautiful lake.
The bath house is dated, but very clean. The metal in the showers has discolored with age, and while not visually pleasing, poses no health concerns.
The ground of the whole park area are immaculate. Nearby roads are lightly traveled and easy to ride bikes on. Half a mile south is a well maintained 18 hole disc golf course called Lost Indian Spring. Really fun course.
There are multiple picnic areas adjacent to the main camping loop. One includes a playground for kids. All have lake views.
Upon arrival the entry booth was un-manned with volunteers that you'd see at most COE parks, but a friendly camper waved us in and explained that the rangers come through at least once a day to check on arrivals and departures.
Our site was level front to back but needed a couple blocks to level up laterally. Took one minute, tops. The utilities worked as expected.
Per the previous reviewer, the park in amidst a forest, thus pine needles and leaves fall. Park staff doesn't rake them up because you're camping in a forest. Right?
This is a park we'll return to yearly. It's gorgeous.

Quiet place decent restrooms and hot showers. Fishing, Bike trails and Hiking in the area. If want stay longer bring enough food and stuff it’s 35 miles away from Memphis TN and 25 from Tunica MS. The only think I don’t really like it’s a few locals fishing guys clean the fish in the dumps station and don’t like to move for Persons in the campground tray to dump. Need more for the park ranger.
