Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 30, 2020This is our second time here, the campground is clean and borders the Kiamichi River, they have 30 and 50 amp sites with water @nd sites with full hookups also, cabins and treehouses are also available, along with at trails. The staff was very polite and helpful. WiFi not so great, but we were here to relax. We are in a pusher and navigating was a little tight but can be done, but waking up to the river made it worth it. Every now and then the park cooks food and has music playing. This is one of my go to parks for this area, thoughly enjoyed it.

The map is a bit deceiving on this one. If you are heading south you have to backtrack 8 miles. A lovely site along the river. Nicely wooded. We were the only RV in the lower section. Would be a bit crowded if all were occupied. No tables at site but available close by. Very quiet with roosters giving the wake up call.

We stayed at K River for a week with friends and family. The place is big and nice! Four of us couples had RVs. One couple stayed in a treehouse. There's fishing, ATV riding, a petting zoo, and some ducks, geese, and squirrels with big personalities. It had rained quite a bit before we got there. The river was running very high and fast. We were really surprised there were no mosquitoes, but honestly, I've never seen that many flies in my entire 55 years. They were awful! We recommend doing whatever you can to ward off the flies from your food. They are big, angry, and hungry. Be sure and ask if your RV hook-ups include sewer or not. Some do, some don't. Some of our group were unclear on whether we had them or not before we got there. We didn't. A week is a long time without dumping an RV, so plan accordingly. Most of the staff seems very confused much of the time about what's going on there. Clear answers are hard to get on any subject unless you talk to the owner himself. I will say that some of the staff's children were allowed to be loud way up in the night, passed midnight, on several occasions. We found it frustrating and amusing since supposedly school has started now. Some older people need their sleep, and this is not the place to get it, if you're a light sleeper. Great time was had by all nonetheless, and even though several of our older campers got very little sleep due to very loud screaming children and barking dogs. Wifi is the total pits unless you stay close to the main building or have AT&T, otherwise forget it. We got to meet the man - Adam Sandoval. Seems like a super nice guy who'd do anything for a veteran or a biker. Thank you Adam for a beautiful place to stay!
