“enjoy some of the best fly-fishing around”
Welcome to beautiful Mountain Home and the surrounding area! This KOA is conveniently located for exploring Boise, Bruneau Dunes State Park, Anderson Ranch Reservoir and wineries in Glenns Ferry. Some of the best fly-fishing is just 35 minutes away on the Boise River’s South Fork. Swim, boat or water-ski on a nearby reservoir off the Snake River. Enjoy Mountain Home’s annual Air Force Appreciation Day in September with jet flybys, free food and a parade. When you’re ready to cool off, the city’s spectacular public pool and park is just one block away. Kids have fun at KOA’s playground, and pets can exercise in the Kamp K9 park. Enjoy the historically based paintings of nearby Rattlesnake Station and the replica of Rattlesnake Fort on display. (Read the inspiring story on KOA’s website!) It’s easy to relax on this campground’s grassy areas with some shade trees.
