“adventure and recreation programs”
Mount Hermon Conference Center has a long history of adventure and recreation programs dating back several decades including the early adoption of challenge courses and team building programs. The adventure and recreation programs have been led by many individuals over the years and supervised within many different departments. In 2010 all adventure and recreation programs were combined into one department and branded Mount Hermon Adventures. Mount Hermon Adventures serves over 50,000 guests annually across a diverse portfolio of programs. Currently the department includes the Redwood Canopy Tour, Team Building, Recreation programs at Ponderosa Lodge, Conference Center and Redwood Camps as well as challenge course and aquatics facilities at all three sites. Mount Hermon Adventures also provides training support and facilities assistance to Kidder Creek and Whisper Canyon and the Outdoor Science School programs.
