Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 19, 2023It's a rest area, but as far as rest areas go this one is great for an overnight. There was room enough for 50 or big rigs, but there were only a handful there when we came in for the night. Dumpsters nearby, and water, though there was a sign next to it that specifically said it's not for drinking. 20 or so day use picnic tables and pavilions too. The cell signal was great for ATT (full signal) but only so-so for Verizon (1 bar of LTE).

A fine place to spend a night in a pinch. Arrived late and left early. Felt safe and we parked near the back so it was actually pretty quiet. Well lite and dogs could stretch their legs. Remember to pick up your trash! (There was a little on the ground). We camped in our mini van

Immediately to your right there are picnic areas separate from semi truck parking. The sign says no RVs but being a truck camper and the low winter season we didn’t have any issues. There were 2 other cars at picnic sites for the night as well. Felt safe, had our own trash can and would stay again. Didn’t go into the bathrooms so I can’t share an opinion on them.

We stayed here last night, just wanted a free place to dry camp for the night and it was perfect. There is an area away from the semi trucks the says no trucks/RV but we went there with our 29ft travel trailer and had no issues, about 8 gravel spots to pick from with a picnic table, shelter, water available but not for drinking and a pet area. Bathrooms were clean. Only 3 other campers the night we stayed but lots of semi trucks on the other side. Lots of highway noise but that's expected with a rest stop. Felt safe and had plenty of room which was most important for us!

We had a 18’ travel trailer and stayed in the car parking lot that is separated from the semi parking. There were 3-4 other cars that stayed all night. Several individuals pavilions are in the lot so you can have your own picnic table. We arrived at 9p, easily found parking, and left at 9a. No issues. Bathrooms were closed. It’s right next to I-40 so bring ear plugs.

It was a small rear area. Lots of parking for RVs and semis. We were able to pull along the edge of the lot and put out our bedroom slide. Very level. There’s a big lot beside the paved area for overflow. There was some litter, but we were parked at the back where the trash cans are, so that’s to be expected. There was a place for dogs to potty, but we just took them in the big field beside our RV. We didn’t go inside as we are self contained. There was road noise of course and semis. Not bad though. We slept well.

We we arrived about 4:30 and parked in the picnic/car area next to one of the many ramadas on a circle drive. That area is the furthest away from the freeway noise, which does not bother us. We have a 25ft travel trailer, 45ft long total. There were several other vans, cars, small trailers that stayed the night. Unique rest area that provides 2 pens and a water tap for people traveling with horses! There was a fellow there with 2 horses in one of the pens and he was practicing his roping skills. Also, there was a mexican food truck. It was still there in the morning. Don't know if it was open in the morning for breakfast. Did not use the restrooms. Good experience. We have a cell booster.

Just made a quick stop here, mid-afternoon every truck/RV spot was full and the restrooms are closed. I parked on the side and of the road so my dog could get a potty break and we left quickly.

I stopped here for a few hours to rest and get something to eat. Surprised to see a taco truck which was delicious.
Good place to walk my dog
and there were dumpsters available. Clean safe place for a solo traveler.
