Located on the shores of Jackson Lake with the majestic Grand Tetons as a backdrop, lodging at Colter Bay Village could be just what your family vacation needs. At Colter Bay Village, we offer a variety of lodging options located right in Grand Teton National Park. Our most popular accommodations are the 166 authentic Jackson Hole homestead cabins that have been relocated to the Colter Bay Village grounds. These log structures have a fascinating history, and have been thoroughly refurbished to meet today’s standards. Also on the property are tent cabins, campsites, and a 112-space RV resort.
We spent three nights here in our Airstream at the RV park. The facilities were clean and the check in was friendly and easy. We road our bikes down to the marina and took an evening boat ride to Elk Island for a BBQ. Steak and trout with a full spread laid out on/in a raised up canoe. I loved this touch. I wish I had a photo but will provide others. Next day went to the marina again and spent two hours with Phil our fishing guide. We had fresh trout for dinner! He was lovely and even cleaned our fish so we only needed to filet and cook them. The last day we drove into Jackson and took a river float down the Snake River.
A beautiful campground in Grand Teton with large tent sites. Drive-through check in makes it efficient, but even then you need to wait in line. From your site it is a short walk to Jackson Lake.
