All sites have access to some grass, some sites are nice and shady while in others the shade trees have been replaced with spruce. Not a big deal. The best sites are normally booked up through the summer months....a lot of nice rigs with TX, AZ, and SD plates are the norm, which tells you full timers and "sunbirds" are regulars here. Watering and mowing is on a schedule so you know what to expect. The highway noise is there, but not annoying and quiet at night for the most part. Park operators are friendly and efficient, receiving packages and mail is the best I have ever seen. A great feature: the park operators will haul your empty propane tanks on their UTV, fill and return them, and charge it to your bill. How handy! We have been here 2 months and the utilities have been flawless. And the park wifi works! We have been using it to stream Prime, etc. Too remote to pick up any digital TV though.
Montrose (~20,000 pop) is 10 minutes away and has pretty much anything you would need....great food trucks too.

A pleasant experience from start to finish. Easy and friendly check in, a guide to our spot, wide and level gravel parking with modern hookups, grass, trees, picnic table, etc. Dumpsters are off to the side but close enough. Lots of positives here. It is at the higher end of what we normally pay, but worth it to me.
Only cons: there is some highway noise from 550; but not bad. We couldn’t pick up any free channels , but are able to stream Prime video over our Verizon service. Didn’t try the local WiFi, bathrooms, or laundry, but we are self contained so never use them.
Will definitely be back in the future.

This is a remote campground on a main highway. We saw elk grazing in the distant hills. The CG is large, but the sites are a bit chummy. We drove to Ridgeway with huge trees in a central park and a great hardware store. Had a beer at the saloon where parts of "True Grit" with John Wayne was filmed. The RR museum was closed (CV-19).

This is a great campground. The sites are large, nice grass area. Great bathrooms and laundry. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Easy to get in and out with a large rig. The campground was full when we were here, but still very quiet. 4 bars of Verizon and pretty good WiFi.

Pros:
Sites are all pull-through, sites are long, lanes are wide.
Easy to maneuver a big rig.
Sites are alternating direction to your neighbor.
There are trees and grass between every two sites.
Laundromat - 3 washers, 3 dryers - takes quarters.
Friendly staff.
Propane refills available on-site.
Montrose Walmart, stores, restaurants are 9 miles away.
Ouray is 26 miles away.
There is a horse farm next door - you can look at the horses.
Cons:
Some sites are right next to highway 550, but the noise is not that bad.

We used this campground in order to restock groceries, laundry, refill our propane and enjoy a brewery. This campground fit our needs and our biggest cudos goes to the staff that runs this operation - SUPER nice folks!
PROS: 1) easy off the main road and easy pull in sites; 2) the facility is very clean; 3) short drive into Montrose; 4) they have propane so staff picked up our tank, filled it and returned to us at our site!
CONS: Can't name any except the campground is right on Hwy 550 but even then, very quiet at night.

Don't rate this park by the the photos on this website, most were taken in 2013. In the last 9 years have the grass & trees have grown and filled out a lot. Much prettier now. The staff, Shae and Carl are great. Both very helpful and friendly. CG roads are wide and campsite access is easy. The park WiFi worked well.

Centennial RV is as nice as the other reviewers indicate- it’s an easy to access park offering large pull-through FHU sites with greenery (mature trees) and some privacy (while the buddy sites definitely have their pros and cons… we had great neighbors). The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, and they were kind enough to extend our stay, accept packages, and provide lots of interesting information about the area. Their Wifi is just fine, but Verizon worked well without a booster. The park is located conveniently to the entire area (Montrose down through Ouray), and while it’s located along the highway, I was surprised that the road noise was not at all noticeable. Blue Ribbon BBQ (food truck) sets up every Wednesday evening, and it’s a nice no-drive option for a delicious dinner.
There was only one negative for us, and it came right as we were leaving. One of the camp hosts knocked on our door at 10am on the morning of check-out. The host asked if we were checking out (they clearly knew we were, but I said ‘yes’ and that we’d be ‘gone by 11’), they responded to my answer by reminding me that check-out was at 11 (I replied again that we’d definitely be gone by then), and then, to emphasize their point, the host told me that they ‘had other guests coming in’…. Again, super nice person and polite during this exchange, but in 4+ years of FT, this was a first. Despite an awkward departure, we enjoyed an ideal stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend Centennial. Their weekly rate is $300 plus tax ($13.95).

We had exhausted all our boondocking choices and it was late afternoon on a Saturday. Shay was happy to get us a spot for 2 nights. She even told us about the Walmart if we only wanted overnight. If we come back through Montrose, we will definitely know where to stay.
