Spacious Skies Belle Ridge is part RV park, part campground, part glamping retreat, and part expansive adventure property akin to a state park, conveniently off I-40, equidistant from Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee. Ridge views go on for days and days when you hit the vistas of the 500+ acres lined with miles of hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and caves, the natural spring-fed swimming hole, and the hike-in fishing hole. All this is there for you to explore outside your camper or cabin door. We offer shady and open sites that can accommodate all sized RVs and trailers—we are big rig friendly! We have back-ins and pull-thrus, 30 or 50-amp electrical service, full hook-up sites only. Enjoy the peace of being connected enough but absolutely away from it all. Our campground is in the heart of the Cumberland Plateau region of middle Tennessee. Belle Ridge is an outdoor paradise and a destination in and of itself, but it is in good company.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on December 28, 2023We pulled in here for a quick over night on our way to the mountains. It was super convenient, well maintained, a lot of full hook up sites, clean, and offered a lot of great amenities. Unfortunately, we pulled in late at night and left early in the morning but we have definitely marked it as a place to stay for longer again in the future.

We stayed here as everywhere else I tried in the area was booked out. It was a nice surprise, great hikes and waterfalls within walking distance of the park. Varying hiking grades.
Check in was easy and we were shown our site where they checked the water etc was fine. There were huge ruts all through our site, which was rather annoying driving in and out of the site. No idea why they didnt fill them. Not all were like this.
Bath houses too far from where we were to use. And i ended up driving to the laundry as I had full loads to do. It was cold and on off rain.

We stayed for 10 days in November. Although the weather was less than perfect, (40's and rain), we were able to still enjoy the hiking trails and UTV trails. The campground is a little over a year old and everything is very well kept. There is only one bathhouse, located closer to the cabins and tent sites, but a very nice, fully tiled bathrooms and showers. Great place to hang during the tornado warning. The trails are varied with some being a bit more challenging but definitely worth it to see the waterfalls and caves on the property. You can rent UTV's and explore at your own pace. The views are beautiful, overlooking the Cumberland Plateau. The staff is very friendly and helpful and WIFI worked well with towers all over the park. My only complaint would be the washouts and ruts from the rain. Some sites have timber retaining walls, but a couple others need some help, however, would not stop me from staying again. The are open all year and have heated water bibs.

We are traveling from NC to MN so this was just an overnight stop. We’d like to come back as it appears they have some great hiking trails. You are allowed to UTV here when conditions are ok. It’s been wet and we got in late so didn’t hear any. I’m not sure how close the UTV trails are to the campground. That said, they got us in a great flat site so we could just pull through and didn’t have to unhook. Campground looks very new. Easy in from Hwy 40.

the place is awesome, trails all over the place, rock pond and everything, lots of distance between lots, our lot was close to being level, during the day its kinda loud with all the UTV/ATV etc running around, lots of people with dogs but most local people i think. the only thing i hated and why i probably wont go back there is the lady that checked us in, the worst service i have ever had, never smiled, never said hi, never asked if we needed anything, when she escorted us to our lot all she did was get on her golf cart, ride it to the front of our lot, she pointed to our spot and she left, she never asked us if we needed anything, showed us the hookups or anything, she didn't care about us at all. i don't know if its cause the owner if a millionaire and don't need money, or if we were out of state people or she just don't care about people, but we have been doing this for 4 years and have never been treated like this at all. just plain ignored, at check in, at the window. when i told her my name all she did was hand me my package and said wait a minute and i will escort you to your lot, no hi there or welcome to bella ridge or anything. didn't get her name, long dark hair, when we are coming back through i highly doubt we will stay here, even though this place is awesome, has everything, awesome trails, but the service SUCKS

My husband and I decided to take a trip to Tennessee during the fall and landed here. Since the outbreak of covid 19 we were cautious about where we wanted to go. When we arrived, (Wednesday) there were a handful of campers in the park, the weekend, filled up, as expected. There are a ton of trails, a watering hole, ( not sure I would go in) and the campground is very close to the highway which caused alot of noise. ( We are not used to it). If was to come back it would be for an overnight not for much more. Internet is slower here but it does work.
A couple place that you should see while staying here. Burgess Fall which is closer to Cookeville, and Bee rock overlook, which is off the beaten path.

This RV park was a 2 night stop for us on our way further south. We stayed a Friday/Saturday and that was plenty.
The hiking trails at this park were a perk for me. I didn’t expect the caves and waterfalls to be so cool. However! To get to some of the features you have to travel the ATV trails. It was cold and wet and they were hard to traverse. Lots of big trenches.
Had it been warm, I’m sure the trails would’ve been busy but we didn’t see any out while we were walking. The atv trails were not marked in a way that made sense to us. We almost got lost before sunset because of the confusing arrow system.
Our pull through spot was waaaay to close to the neighbors for my comfort but there were other decent spots along the perimeter.
The check in was easy, although the first person we chatted with seemed very introverted but she wasn’t rude like some previous reviewers mentioned. The lady the next day was quite helpful with our trail questions.
I loved having the clean laundry room and used it for 2 loads while we were there.
It seems like this campground would be fun in the summer, with the swimming pond and lots of things to see. I prefer a little more privacy with sites, that’s all.

We stayed in site E4 in our camper van and had lots of privacy. We had full hookups and free wifi (which was a treat for us). The sites are level and the campground is very well maintained. There are numerous trails all over the 500 acre property. We took the one to Bridal Falls and it was very nice. Would recommend hiking shoes, as you climb over large rocks and step over medium ones. It’s well worth the effort. The bathhouse is first rate. Very nice bench area in showers to dry off and get dressed.
