HI-Monterey Hostel

Youth hostel in beautiful Monterey, CA. Walk outside, yup, that's the bay! We are 5 min. walk from the aquarium and numerous restaurants. A 15 min walk to the Fisherman's wharf and downtown Monterey. Great kayaking, whale watching, scuba diving, sailing, surfing, hiking all year round!!

Little local tip, warmest months are September-Novmeber but the busiest months are June-August!

We are part of Hostelling International, with clean, safe hostels on every continent (except the really cold ones!). 

We have 42 beds in 3 private rooms and 3 dorm rooms. 

Rates vary between $23-$35 depending on time of year and if you have a Hostelling International membership.

We offer complimentary parking, wifi, pancake/waffle breakfast, coffee all day. Sheets, linens and blankets are included. Hot showers! A HUGE living room with a piano and guitar, t.v. screen, games and internet computers. 

Summer months get VERY busy in Monterey so make a reservation!
