With family in Wenatchee, we've stayed in several places but this is by far the best. It's super clean, beautiful, and convenient. The best site we've had is #6 with the river right behind the trailer. Wenatchee River County Park is not open in the winter. In the summer, you'll almost certainly need reservations but can often find a spot without reservations in the spring and fall.
In addition to all the fruit stands, there is a very nice Farmer's Market in Wenatchee on Saturdays. It's located just outside the Pybus Market. Inside, the market is full of food related business that are open every(?) day.
Road noise from Highway 2 and an occasional train on the other side of the river are the only drawbacks. We could easily boost Verizon to 5 bars with the antenna and amplifier, a weak 3 bars otherwise. We didn't try their WiFi ...

I love a good train. Loud, screaming all through the night its whistle, I am undaunted by any possible inconvenience simply because I am in love with trains.
Unfortunately, Wenatchee River County Park, though poised gloriously along the river and the train track across, is also right up against the highway, and the traffic drives steadily through the night. So, we heard few of the passing trains.
Now let's address grass in the desert. I know that people like grass. I don't know why—it's just vegetation—but I do get that they like it. However, in the desert, particularly in time of drought, there is no place for watering an entire park's worth of grass. I suppose most people will find the lush, soft grass a boon. I see the devastation of a state I've come to love, the depletion of a resource our nation is quickly losing.
Inversely, and perhaps hypocritically I guess, I did like the various trees from around the world scattered throughout the park, many tagged and named.
This park feels like a private park, but with big enough spaces (nobody is crammed in, and our spit was downright huge).
Great playground. Pleasant staff (though mowing our lawn at 8am seemed overzealous).
The river is where it's at though. We bought brownies from one of them there legal marijuana shops down the road and watched the Perseids flood in by the dozens every night.
Wenatchee itself has everything you'd need—from Advance Auto to Target—and absolutely no charm. This is a stunning, of arid, region though, and the cell service is banging strong, so work was done and done well.
We've been used to pristine crystal clear water in the Cascades, and the water here was funky tasting.
For the average RVer, though, this place would probably be the bees knees.

Asphalt sites with ample spacing and well kept lawn in between. Nice playgrounds for kids, propane available, and clean bathrooms. It is noisy, between the train and highway traffic. Located on the Wenatchee River. Interior roads are easy to navigate in large rigs, sites are back-in.

Staff was friendly! Spot was well maintained and in good contrition. I had full hook ups and a picnic table and fire ring. We were right by the dog run which was perfect since we have two dogs.
When I needed propane, I just put it out at the end of my spot and they come around and fill them then just charge the card on the account! Super convenient!!
The only negative was the train noise and the highway noise went all night. But I just put on some rain sounds on my google home and was totally fine!
They allow up to two dogs and there are some rules like no vicious dogs of any size and breed. They can be in the dog run if they listen to verbal commands, no dogs left unattended, pick up after dogs, and 8’ leash max. Many places don’t allow dogs at all and I had no problem following the rules in order to bring my dogs!!!
WiFi is available and there are showers and bathrooms in every section. There is a dump station that I believe is free for those who camped with no sewer. They have ice, propane fill ups, and a dumpster!! Also overflow parking in the “garage”.

A very friendly and clean campsite with picnic table and lots of lawn. Dog run, but it's not completely fenced, so we couldn't let our two bigs dogs off leash. The main highway runs along side the campground, so there is traffic noice as well as the occasional train going by. You can hear the river roar and it's soothing at night until the train goes by. Clean facilities and a nice laundry.

Well maintained with long asphalt sites, grassy areas spacious in between, and many shade trees. Well maintained by friendly staff.
But the noise!! Road noise from Hwy 2 all day, somewhat less at night, with the occasional train across the river thrown in.
Bathrooms and playground closed due to Covid.
No meaningful walking paths or hiking trails nearby.

Yes, you can hear the train and the highway. But it doesn’t bother us. Big trees and cool grass help keep you cool during the summer heat. The river has great access for sitting in it during the hottest part of the day. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Easy access to Cashmere, Leavenworth and Wenatchee. One of my top five places to visit!

County and city parks can be some of the best accommodations. This place is no exception. Actually, it is exceptional! The young lady at the check-in desk is a great face for the park. Very friendly and full of local suggestions. You are given an security card for the gate to the RV side of the park. The sites are asphalt surrounded by grass. Nightly sprinklers go off in the dead of night and in our case, hit the trailer. Don't leave anything out you do not want to get wet. There is a dump station if you do not have a full hookup site.
Agave Azul Mexican is excellent and there is a 15% off the bill coupon in the brochure provided at check-in.
The campground is between Route 2 and an active train track. You will hear both of these most of the time. Never interfered with our sleep.
Leavenworth is about 30 minutes away. Cute Bavarian style town designed to separate you from your money! Lots of restaurants, bars/brew pubs, and stores. We did to into the Nutcracker Museum which was interesting.

Park is so clean, employees are friendly and large spaces. Only downside is constant highway noise, large truck jake brakes, railroad tracks and train blowing horn at 10:30 pm. Otherwise a perfect stop.
