Hwy 279 was very scenic, following the Colorado River. Dinosaur Tracksite Trail is a short, steep, rocky trail. There is a slab with footprints on it facing the road. We took our dog and it was difficult making it up the last large rock, however you can see it from the base. The trailhead has information boards with info on dinosaur species and trail. From the parking lot you can also see the tracks and gliphs with binoculars or large camera lense.
