Seven Mile Parking

September 15th, 2018: RVer report confirms reports from Dec 2015 and Sept 2017. Overnight RV Parking is allowed for a fee. What began several years ago as a bargain overnight parking spot has constantly risen in price, beginning in late 2106 or early 2017. Privately owned open area with no hookups. Closest to US 181 is an open gravel lot signed 'Day Use.' W of that is a second open lot for 'Budget' Overnight RV Parking. Beyond that is an area with designated RV sites, porta-potties & trash receptacles, but no other amenities and no hookups. Room for numerous RVs. Unlighted, level quiet after highway traffic dies down; believed to be safe. One RVer says it's great for stargazing; another reports a usable Verizon data signal here. Maximum stay: believed to be 3 nights. 2019 rates: Day parking, $5/day; Budget overnight parking, $20/night; Designated RV sites, $30/night.
