“Scenic Byway”
This Scenic Byway provides great views of the Colorado River, ancient rock art and dinosaur tracks. In the late afternoon a sunset on the reddish-orange sandstone cliffs along the route is especially beautiful on the return drive to Moab.

This road has everything from rock climbing, OHV roads, water access for boats & BLM camping at the end of the road past the potash mine (take the right dirt road at the end of the paved road at the split at the boat ramp parking). Camping is also available at state regulated pay camp sites on many different points on this road.
